Risk interpretation and limitations

Read scores, sanctions signals, missing evidence and research reports without confusing them with signing approval.

An experimental indicator, not a probability

Fast mode and completed default-mode research can produce a score from 0 to 100 when evidence is sufficient. It is an experimental risk indicator, not a calibrated probability of wrongdoing and not a substitute for underlying evidence. A null score does not mean zero risk.

Default-mode research produces a cited report and then evaluates captured provider evidence for a final Jev assessment. A report can be available while scoring is still pending. Interpret the run status, assessment status, and limitations together; score generation is not guaranteed for every run.

Assessment and sanctions are separate signals

  • assessed: an assessment is available; still review its evidence and limitations.
  • review_required: human review is indicated.
  • insufficient_evidence: available evidence does not support an adequate assessment.
  • unavailable: an assessment could not be provided.
  • report_only: a pending research checkpoint or historical report-only result; do not assume this is the final outcome of new default research.

Sanctions status is clear, matched or unknown. A match needs investigation under your policy. Unknown is not clear. Clear describes the returned screening result, not a guarantee that an address is safe, lawful, or free of all sanctions exposure.

Coverage and failure handling

Transaction history is sampled and may be incomplete. Labels, balances, relationships, sanctions data or upstream services may be unavailable. Read historyHasMore, sampledTransactions, availability flags and limitations; do not infer full-history coverage.

Keep the evidence, policy version and your decision context available for your own review process. Decide explicitly how your application handles timeouts, failed reports, canceled runs, incomplete evidence and changed information.

Do not describe a completed run as an approved transfer. Tennto does not control customer signing keys or enforce allow/hold/block rules. No output guarantees regulatory compliance or transaction safety.
